Maple syrup glazed pork ribs will satisfy even the pickiest of BBQ eaters.

Cooked on the grill in summer or baked in winter they release all the smoky aroma with a sweet aftertaste given by the maple syrup-based glaze.

Instructions

  • Prepare the marinade by adding sweet paprika, garlic powder, maple sugar and maple syrup in a bowl.
  • Stir well for a few minutes until the marinade becomes thick, smooth, and of lasting color.
  • Brush the pork ribs generously, covering the entire pork ribs with the freshly prepared marinade.
  • Let rest in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
  • Once the necessary time has elapsed, drain the meat from the marinade and lay the ribs on a nonstick pan or baking sheet.
  • Add the sprigs of rosemary.
  • Bake in a static oven at a temperature of 160°C (350°F) for 90 minutes.
  • Finish cooking for another 15 minutes at temperature 220°C with grill function.
  • While cooking, continue to brush with the marinade every 15 minutes or so.
  • When the ribs are well cooked and the glaze bronzed, turn off the oven and season with coarse salt to taste.
  • Serve with side dishes to taste, such as baked potatoes or grilled vegetables.
