Eton Mess with maple syrup is our version of the well-known dessert of English origin. Delicious and messy, “mess” indeed, layers of fruit and cream with maple syrup. Ideal for an end of a meal or a quick break, super easy to make and sure to impress.

Maple syrup gives the preparation an aromatic note that makes it a real treat.

Eton mess with maple syrup

Ingredients

  • 200g liquid whipping cream
  • 100g of robiola cheese
  • 30g maple syrup MapleFarm Pure Maple Syrup – Very Dark
  • Very fresh fruit such as strawberries and blueberries
  • a few cookies and maple syrup to decorate

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the fruit. Cut the strawberries into small wedges.
  • In a bowl, process the robiola cheese with the maple syrup.
  • Whip the cream very firmly, combine it with the robiola cheese, gently, mixing from top to bottom without letting it come apart. Transfer it all to a piping bag.
  • Fill the small glasses by alternating layers of cream with layers of fruit.
    Use clear glass glasses to show the layers.
  • Just before serving, garnish the surface with a few broken cookies and a drizzle of maple syrup.
