Ingredients

  • 500g pachino or date tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons of herbes de Provence
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • fresh basil
  • 50ml MapleFarm Pure Maple Syrup – Gold
  • 30ml extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. Cover a low-sided baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the cherry tomatoes with the insides facing up.
  • Combine lightly crushed poached garlic cloves.
  • In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, oil, salt, and herbes de Provence. Stir, then drizzle the cherry tomatoes with this mixture.
  • Place in hot oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Strain the cherry tomatoes and let them cool slightly.
  • For appetizers, serve them on slices of toast with herbs and a few basil leaves.
